All were self produced through her independent record label, Esmeralda Records, named after a character she played in a Tennessee Williams play. Tiffany has also made her mark in the music industry with her organization, “Rockin’ Moms,®" which she created to promote moms in music. As an aspiring Rockin’ Mom herself, she wanted to acknowledge the accomplishments of Moms in the industry, including producing music festivals, ezines, music website and producing CD compilations.<br /><br />Tiffany has been honored early in her music career with a proclamation from Mayor Gavin Newsom, of San Francisco, officially naming 9/14/05, "Tiffany Petrossi Day", to honor her musical contribution and performance at City Hall. Petrossi has received a runner up in VH1 Song of the Year contest for her song, ”The Actress,” and radio play on over 300 stations. Tiffany is a is a voting member of NARAS and endorsed by Daisy Rock Guitars. You can find her performing locally in the SF bay area and nationally, with a full band as well as solo acoustic shows. Fronted by Matt Langlois, a New England native and longtime San Francisco transplant whose stage persona is reminiscent of Pete Townsend and Ray Davies and whose songwriting is in line with John Lennon and Jeff Tweedy. The band features Rob Sherman on guitar, Rick Munoz on drums and Andrew Lion on bass. The first track entitled ‘Longing’ includes Tucson inhabitant Jacob Valenzuela from Calexico on horns. As well as a guest appearance on “On The Ocean” from Prince/Sheila E keyboardist Rose Ann Dimalanta. </p><p>Matt is a natural storyteller with an expressive voice. He delivers an edgy, honest blend of indie/rock & folk/rock and his front man talents and songwriting skills are evident. He has been immersed in the local music scene since his move to SF in ’96 and has found a dedicated following and critical acclamation.
