October 28, 2008 -- JetSpeed Records' very own rock/rap sensation "Chasom" gave an overwhelmingly energetic performance working the stage as well as the crowd at the SoCal Rock Revolution Saturday October 25th at the Hollywood Park Raceway and Casino in Inglewood, California. After following EEK-A-MOUSE on the main stage, jumping into the audience, "Chasom" got the crowd moving with hits "Not From Compton" as well as "Transformer". "Chasom" ended the set with "Giving Twinkies To Fat Kids" accompanied by the immeasurable vocals of pint sized rapper "R2" who was an absolute crowd favorite as well. <br /><br />Throughout the rest of the evening fans rocked out to "Hed PE", "Finch" and "Unwritten Law" among a slew of other upandcoming rock bands including Huntington Beach's stylish rockers "Franki Doll And The Broken Toys" as well as the acutely synchronized San Diego rockers "A Dull Science". <br /><br />JetSpeed Records co-sponsored the SoCal Rock Revolution event with KROQ, AHL Productions, Ticketweb, Vitamin Water and Faded Energy Drink among others. The show started at 12PM holding eight stages both indoor and out and rocked on into the night until the Kotton Mouth Kings brought down the house around 1AM. <br /><br />"Chasom" will be playing shows throughout the southern California area and is gearing up for their January 2009 Maxim Promotional Tour/Shoot in Peru. Look for "Chasom" on iTunes. <br /></p>

We just wanted to say thanks to all for coming out to our 1st annual Halloween party at Bada Brew.<span style="mso-spacerun: yes;"> </span>Rod and Rick were doing lights and sound (Good backups Rod!) <span style="mso-spacerun: yes;"> </span>And Steve from Powerslave jumped up and belted out Revelations. We had a helluva time and were very pleased to see so many of our fans at the show. You guys made the party a true success.<span style="mso-spacerun: yes;"> </span></span></p>
<p style="margin: 0in 0in 10pt;" class="MsoNormal"><span style="font-size: small;">We also want to thank everyone at the bar for having us out and we're looking forward to coming back on December 6th. The other band hasn't been set yet... but we have some real close friends in mind that gave us our start by opening for them. When we get the word, so will you we think you'll be very pleased!!!!</span></p>

They are a terrific Black Sabbath tribute band that we all enjoyed listening to. Keep an eye out for these guys and maybe we can do another show with them soon. <p style="margin: 0in 0in 10pt;" class="MsoNormal"><span style="font-size: small;">The costume contest was great as well. We knew a few of our knucklehead friends (I say that with all respect cause we love ya) would dress up but WOW!!!<span style="mso-spacerun: yes;"> </span>More than half the place was in costume and it was cool as hell to see. You guys listen to directions well!!! I still don't know how raggedy Ann and Andy didn't win?? It’s a conspiracy I tell ya. </span></p>
<p style="margin: 0in 0in 10pt;" class="MsoNormal"><span style="font-size: small;">The prizes were handed out based on the crowd response and when all the guys went goo goo gaga over Candy Corn, well, there’s your winner!!!<span style="mso-spacerun: yes;"> </span>No disrespect hon, it was a great costume!!! You got a gift card from the bar so save it till December 6th ok!!!!<span style="mso-spacerun: yes;"> </span>That’s when we'll be back at Bada Brew and we hope to see all of you back with us. </span></p>

Most importantly our "special guests" Jodie and Mike you guys rock and we really appreciate all that you do for us.</span></p>
